About Me
Hello, my name’s Ben and I’m a 23 year old web developer from Taunton, England. I’ve been a web developer for 5 years now and I’m part of the HigherSites team.
I’m proficient PHP developer with lots of experience with OOP and MVC methodologies, throw in a bit of Smarty for good measure and while we’re there a bit of FOP too, aren’t you loving all these abbreviations?
When I’m not elbow deep in code for our ERP application I can usually be found developing WordPress themes, where I can utilise front end skills such as JavaScript and jQuery, HTML, CSS etc.
I’m not a designer, but that’s your job! I’m open to requests for services such as WordPress theme development, PHP / front end development, just drop me an email.

Hobbies
Motorsport is on of my greatest passions, from growing up on bikes to have driven a single seater on a couple of occasions, motorsport makes up a massive part of my life. My evolvement with motorsport is usually just as a spectator, however one of my other hobbies is photography, so sometimes my envelopment escalates to media.
I run my own motorsport photography website to display and promote my images, with a hope that it would increase my chances of gaining a media pass in the future. I have been lucky enough to be given a media pass for the 2010 Renault World Series at Silverstone, my proudest moment was being able to photograph the Renault R29 F1, driven by Jerome d’Ambrosio.
